Book Review : Scream Street

The Scream Street series started off with the first book, Fang Of The Vampire. Luke Watson transformed into a werewolf and tried to hurt a school bully. The Government Housing Of Unusual Lifeforms (G.H.O.U.L.) then sent Luke and his parents to Scream Street where the community consists of vampires, witches, mummies, zombies, skeletons, shape shifters, fairies, ghosts, banshees, goblins and many other beings you can ever imagine of! Luke thinks that Scream Street is a place he can call home but his parents were terrified of the community there, especially by their vampire neighbors. Seeing his terrified parents, Luke along with his new friends Resus Negative, a wannabe vampire and Cleo Farr, a tomboy mummy set off to find the six founding fathers' relics that has the power to open a doorway out of Scream Street. The trio faced obstacles as Sir Otto Sneer, the landlord of Scream Street thwart them at their every turn to try to get the relics for himself. After collecting all the relics, they managed to open the doorway but Mr and Mrs Watson decided to stay in Scream Street. Sir Otto Sneer use the open doorway to charge normals into Scream Street as "the greatest freak show ever"! Then, Luke, Resus and Cleo once again set off to return the six relics back to the founding fathers of Scream Street to close the doorway to prevent Sir Otto from charging more normals into Scream Street. In the last book, Flame Of The Dragon, the trio manage to drive all the normals out of Scream Street and Sir Otto was punished for a year in another G.H.O.U.L. community. This book series is packed with hilarious and spooky adventures alongside with awesome and funny characters. These Scream Street books are written by Tommy Donbavand.
