Had A Fantastic Time In Mei Mei's House =)

Andrea, Yee Leng, Su Sanne, Tzy Jiun and I did not attend the Christmas dinner at Mei Mei's house so she invited us over on the 29th of December. She was an excellent cook! =) The lasagne, yoghurt...everything was great!

Then, we watched So You Think You Can Dance Season 7 and the dances were magnificent!

We had a really awesome time there so thank you, Mei Mei for inviting us over! =D

Another Day In Maxwell Hill...

Pak Ngah and the other VLoN facilitators invited a lot of SMK Convent, Taiping students and teachers to eat some durians, mangosteens, rambutans and buah salak in Maxwell Hill on the 26th of December. =)

However, only 3 students came, me, Wong Wee Wen and Fan Jia Xin. =( Puan Norizan and Encik Azaini came too.

After eating the fruits they brought, we went boating in Lake Gardens. I got my first experience rowing a boat. It was awesome! =)

Before I went home, they even had extra fruits and gave me 2 durians and lots of mangosteens, rambutans and buah salak so I suppose you can imagine how much fruits they brought!

Straight A's For PMR!!!

The PMR results came out on the 22nd of December so all the Form 3 students, parents and teachers came to school.

There were some speeches and they announced that SMK Convent, Taiping is the best day school in Perak and we are above all the other Convent schools in Perak for 82 of us succeeded in obtaining straight A's for PMR! =)

Everyone went up on stage one by one to take their PMR resulst slip. I'm glad I managed to get straight A's for PMR but I can't be too comfortable about it yet 'cause SPM is next...

Another Programme In Zoo Taiping...

Wee Wen and I became facilitators again in Zoo Taiping for some students from UiTM Faculty Of Law on the 18th of December =).

We helped to conduct the explorace game and the yellow team became champions. It was raining in the middle of the game so naturally most of us got soaked. Abang Rimba gave Wee Wen and I some durians and cool-looking compasses after the programme =).

Then, we had dinner in a restaurant a stone's throw away from Econsave and my sister fetched Wee Wen home and of course, I headed straight home right after that. Thanks again, Wee Wen for getting me into this programme!

Book Review : Scream Street

The Scream Street series started off with the first book, Fang Of The Vampire. Luke Watson transformed into a werewolf and tried to hurt a school bully. The Government Housing Of Unusual Lifeforms (G.H.O.U.L.) then sent Luke and his parents to Scream Street where the community consists of vampires, witches, mummies, zombies, skeletons, shape shifters, fairies, ghosts, banshees, goblins and many other beings you can ever imagine of! Luke thinks that Scream Street is a place he can call home but his parents were terrified of the community there, especially by their vampire neighbors. Seeing his terrified parents, Luke along with his new friends Resus Negative, a wannabe vampire and Cleo Farr, a tomboy mummy set off to find the six founding fathers' relics that has the power to open a doorway out of Scream Street. The trio faced obstacles as Sir Otto Sneer, the landlord of Scream Street thwart them at their every turn to try to get the relics for himself. After collecting all the relics, they managed to open the doorway but Mr and Mrs Watson decided to stay in Scream Street. Sir Otto Sneer use the open doorway to charge normals into Scream Street as "the greatest freak show ever"! Then, Luke, Resus and Cleo once again set off to return the six relics back to the founding fathers of Scream Street to close the doorway to prevent Sir Otto from charging more normals into Scream Street. In the last book, Flame Of The Dragon, the trio manage to drive all the normals out of Scream Street and Sir Otto was punished for a year in another G.H.O.U.L. community.
