Mr Eric Chong Came To SMK Convent, Taiping =)

On the 11th of November, Mr Eric Chong presented an English Power Seminar in the Form 5 block of our school.

He is the founder of Erican Education group and currently the managing director.

It was very interesting and kinda funny when he was describing about the peacock, stealing someone's heart and many more. It was not a boring seminar so thumbs up, Mr Chong =)

Victory!!!!

SMK Convent, Taiping have just become champions for the choir competition in the state level! =D The competition was held in Virgo Batik Resort in Lumut, Perak on the 9th and 10th of November.

When they announced that the runner-ups were SMJK(C) Sam Tet, all of us jumped up and down and screamed happily for we knew that we will be the champions!

It was so awesome and when we told Puan Rahimah, our principal, about it, she was so happy =) I'm so glad we won. All thanks to Mei Mei, Mr Yim and Puan Siti for helping us =D. Plus, I got to visit Teluk Batik Beach for the first time =)

Another Camp...

I've just been to another camp on the 19th and 20th October with my friend, Azzlyn Zurain Bt Zamri. Been to lots of places but only in Perak. On the first day we went to Rumah Orang Tua-tua Sri Kenangan, Taiping.

It was quite cool 'cause there's an old man there playing harmonica =). Then, we went to Sekolah Tunas Bakti Taiping where I bought some delicious cheese muffins. In the night we slept in Hotel Seri Malaysia, Taiping. On the next day we went to Muzium Arkeologi Kota Tampan, Lenggong where we saw the replica of Perak Man which was found in Gua Gunung Runtuh and we got the chance to visit Gua Asar and Gua Puteri which was a base for archeology.

I bought a cute mini labu sayong in Padang Rengas for my mom and went to Galeri Sultan Azlan Shah in Kuala Kangsar after that.

I suppose that's all...it's not exactly the best camp I've been in but it's not that bad...

CRAZIEST, FUNNIEST & MOST SPORTING CAMP EVA!!!

I had a supremely crazy time in JOTA JOTI 2011 in SJK(C) Sin Ya on the 14th-16th of October!

I was in Alpha 4 and my team mates were really hilarious. The guys from my team were extremely funny and my friends and I can't stop laughing! We kinda cheated a little and crapped a lot (LOL)! It's great being around sporting team mates =D .

I was so surprised that Convent Girls got 3rd for Malam Kebudayaan. I didn't expect us to win. And there was this cool beat boxing by Sean and Andrew and of course they got 1st. I've made many friends there and I even managed to get the challenge badge =) Check it out!

Then in the bus we had a cheer fight! It was so awesome =) Convent Girls (Rangers) vs Georgians & Edwardians (Scouts)!

I hope I can be able to go to JOTA JOTI again next year. So, the one word to describe my time in JOTA JOTI is AWESOME!!! =)

Finally, the Form 3 exams are over! Lots of awesome activities after PMR such as Hari Kerjaya, JOTA JOTI 2011 and many more! =) I'll post about the world jamboree soon! Check out this year's badge! 

A Great Camp In Kuala Lumpur!

On the 23rd and 24th of July, I have been to the JENESYS Selection Camp To Japan in Quality Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Although I wasn't chosen to go to Japan, I am glad I gained a lot of experience and made many, many new friends. I miss them so much now...hopefully I get to see them again...Joey Lim Sim Yee, Lee Wen Qing, Gan Jer Nynn, Clarrise Ng May Kymm, Izyan Binti Zullaili, Nicole Lai King Lamm, Afiqah Binti Sulaiman, Charin The En Yin, Chien Mei Yee, Meidelynn Ooi Ning Wei, Regina Tan Jia Xin, Fadhli Bin Ahmad, Tang Mun Kit, Beatrice Supang Wong, Naemah, Wirawit Lee a/l Siang, Yap Zhong Ling and of course Arasa Tharshini a/p Rasadurai but I won't be missing her 'cause she's in the same class as me! Charin even gave me a lovely keychain! =)

Save the Earth!

Many of you would think that recycling is not important.. WELL, IT IS!!! Everyday, I found TONS of bottles or aluminum cans or papers in the rubbish bin in school! I was like HELLO? THERE IS A RECYCLING BIN RIGHT OVER THERE!!! But no one would listen... =(  People should be aware that recycling is like major important! I wonder how I can get people to recycle...
